Recently Livability.com published their Top 10 Best Downtown Cities for 2014 and our very own Fort Worth was ranked #1! We all know that we have a winner every time we are in Fort Worth, but it is definitely nice to be recognized. Typically, these lists are data driven but they state in the opening article that this year was an exception because they not only took the data, but polled people on the look of skylines, the street sounds, and people that have visited or live in particular cities. If you haven’t been to Fort Worth lately, take a drive into Fort Worth, park the car, visit a Food Truck Park, ride your bike along the Trinity and see some of the urban development going on. You may just decide that you want to find a permanent parking place and 3G Properties can help you find that!
Horses, wagons and longhorn steers parading through downtown might seem strange, but in Fort Worth, Texas, it's a tradition. The annual All Western Parade, which marks the start of the Stock Show and Rodeo, draws more than 100,000 spectators and demonstrates how this ever-evolving metropolis remains close to its agricultural roots. Few downtowns have achieved the cohesion between cowboy culture and urban sophistication that Fort Worth has.
The number of people living in downtown Fort Worth continues to grow as new developments add residential, office and retail options. City and community leaders support a number of rehabilitation and improvement projects that help bring in more businesses, create a more walkable environment and ease traffic congestion.
